( Amy's voice in the background )
Honestly , this is the eighth time you promise me snow , and on we go and there we get and not a single flake! So either the TARDIS is broken , or YOU! "Space Man" forgot how to drive!
I am melting in this coat and on top of it all , I lost the bet. What do you know my lovely idiot was right. Again!
"Come on!" he says "It'll be snow" he says "It'll be like Christmas in mid July" he tempts me..Argh!
( 15 minutes earlier )
The Doctor :
"We've just passed Triangulan's Belt and we're shaking from all our bits and bobs, Haha! Shenanigans! Did i ever tell you about Shenanigans?" one of the tiny things floating around hits his face
"Oh and where do you think you're going !" he stretches his hand to catch it afterwards but instead loses his grip and ends up hitting his head on the axel he was gripping
"Hooooooold Ooooooonnn!" Shouts The Doctor. "C'mon ol' Girl! Nearly there!"
"Dooc-toooor!!!"
A shout comes from behind , it was obviously Amy who slipped from the bar she was gripping and sunk straight in the double armchair installed right in front of the temporal controls.
Rory was all ready on the floor shouting :
"Are you all right??"
Hahaha! The Doctor starts laughing hysterically.
"Can you feel it? It's almost as if we're one with the Time Vortex."
Just an average day for him now in the driver's seat while Rory was doing all he could to hold himself still on the floor in one of the Tardis's corners while looking vaguely in the Doctor's direction uttering a few words out :
"I think I'm going to pass out now".
Just like that the TARDIS stopped shaking , soon to realise that they have reached their destination.
"Ahh , there we go!" Says the Doctor while Amy was laughing frenetically.
"Hahaha , I'm getting used to that you know?" I can see why you don't even bother to "fix Her" , She is perfect!"
Pulling himself back together , The Doctor fiddles with the Tardis' controls and takes the hand break off (he usually does forget it on) thus parking Her perfectly. And with a swift turn , sprinting all the way to the door and stopping in front of it , pointing to the general "out" direction , he shouts ..
"Aand! Behind door number one , soon to be ice aged for the forty second time and , Mind You! , we can not spend more than 10 minutes out there if you don't want us to end up completely frozen for the next 20.000 years or so ; Oh get your warm coat out missus Williams , because I , give you , ..."
"Oh here he goes again" Rory chuckled.
"ABEL 3627740479!"
That sounds like a very long phone number , interrupts Amy from the back.
"Commonly known as "LYX" , sole survivor of the last Supernova! Bit of a myth you know , no one knows why or how this little planet survived , but there it is! Untouched in the same place it was a millennia ago , Soo .. Shall we??"
The Doctor was hyped as usual , over excited and could barely wait to set foot on the planet.
"Come on Rory! Try it out you never know you might actually have fun!"
"No i think I'm going to wait right here" replies Rory still lying on the floor
"I think I am going to be sick" he added.
"Well .. Suit yourself." says The Doctor while reaching for his long brown coat.
On the other hand Amy was sprinting towards the Tardis' door:
"Did anyone say New Planet??? Here we come!!!" shouts Amy clearly excited by the thought of it while a gentler much more scared and sick-ish voice dropped from the back from Rory's corner :
"Oi You! Be careful out there!"
Pulling out one of her famous "What" faces , she looks down on Rory still chuckling , asking him :
"What are you doing down there!?!? Hihihi!"
"I'm fine , I'm just , uh , oh , resting , yeah that's what it is, I am resting for a bit ." Trying very hard to cover his shameful landing.
"I bet you a tenner there is no snow!" he continues.
"Oh you're ON mister!" throws back Amy as if to spite him , then slowly turning her attention towards The Doctor asking :
"Well what are we waiting for?" She opens the TARDIS' door and slowly steps to the right with a hand in the air and a wicked smile on while addressing The Doctor :
"Age before beauty!" hinting The Doctor to exit first.
He looks at her with great amusement and gently replies :
"Oh I'll remember that."
The door closes behind them and Rory can now finally rest after that bumpy trip.
"Nutters!" he mutters to himself trying to forget about feeling sick.
-
"Valley of Soranae!" points The Doctor with one hand towards the valley in front of them , with the other holding Amy's.
On the other side of the door , Amy's amusement was slowly fading away.
"Doctor , are you sure we're on the right place?"
-
"Uhm ..? Give it a few seconds. Just .. a few .. seconds.." He pulls out his sonic screwdriver from within his jacket's inner pocket clicking it randomly.
-
"Ok , nothing's happening!" continues Amy not so happy this time.
-
"Just a few , mooore , seconds?"
And to his surprise , nothing was indeed happening. He puts the sonic screwdriver back in his pocket.
"I don't understand" he says , "We're in the right place , at the right time."
-
"What?" asks Amy as if snapping out of a flashy daydream while letting go of his hand.
"Soo.. There won't be any snow?" staring at The Doctor with her big , green , eyes.
-
"Come with me for a second" says The Doctor grabbing her hand once again. He thought he has seen something down in the valley in front of them. Quick sprint and a couple of seconds later they both come to a stop.
The stain of color has disappeared completely and was now , nowhere to be seen.
"Oh, flowers!" yells Amy while briefly letting go of his hand yet again in order to pick a few.
As Amy was distracted by the pretty flowers , forgetting momentarily about the promised snow , The Doctor sees something anew further down the valley and runs towards it , this time making sure it won't escape his sight again. The more he gets closer to this "thing" , the more he realises what , or better said "who" this is.
He turns a quick eye to Amy who was still picking flowers , by no means in any hurry.
Ten meters and closing. He slows down his running. Eight , and he slows down even more. Six , he was now almost walking , five , four , step by step , three , he holds out his hand to reach it. Two , he is so close now but he stops for a moment as if not daring to go any closer.
All but two feet were separating him from this "person" or what ever it was in front of him. It was clearly not moving , as if holding his head between his palms. It was actually a man! A bony old man who sat down on a rock , and still not moving. The Doctor reaches out again , determined this time , and the more he got closer the more he had this ..feeling. This sick and wretched feeling , almost suffocating him as if cutting out the oxygen to both his hearts. Five inches away now. He stops.
"No!" - "It can't be!"
"Impossible!"
And as fast as a bee could fly round your ear , right before stinging , when you know exactly what's coming but it's all ready to late to stop it , this "man" , reaches to The Doctor's hand and grabs it. His face looked even older and even bonier. With his sharp eyebrows , large fixated eyes closing towards his temples , a particularly strong nose and a devil-ish smile , throws The Doctor into a shock of momentum , for this bony man in front of him which now grabbed his hand , was all too familiar to him.
"Tick , Tock , Tick-Tock.." says this "man" in front of him , tilting his head with every word he spoke , jumping at The Doctor , not more than half an inch from his face.
"Can you feel it? Can you see it?" , "Am I there? Look for it!"
"For IT .. is the reason for everything!"
The Doctor takes a step back.
"What'ave you done? , What ..what have I done." The Doctor was now looking back in his memories trying to remember what happened that night , so long ago.
"Where oh where could you have possibly hid? You don't exist any more! You cannot ! You ..you have no place here!"
-
"Here , is relative. And so is There!" The man points into another direction where The Doctor turns his attention , only to find himself staring at the same bony man with those familiar features.
"Or perhaps There!" points towards Amy where he appears yet again pointing at the flowers in Amy's hand , making them wither and die in but a split second.
-
"Don't you dare! You hear me? Don't you even dare!" says The Doctor while witnessing this man getting closer and closer to Amy.
"Or THERE!" The same loud voice comes from behind The Doctor. It sounded so much like his own voice only so full of rage and anger. The Doctor jumps and turns yet again only to find this man's finger pointing to one of his hearts. He touches it. And in that very moment , The Doctor sees a glimpse. A vision , a memory of a planet , so familiar and so far away.
"The name of this planet? You know it too well Doctor. But you then forgot! He must know , WE must know! TELL US! For IT , is the reason for everything. We shall have it , and then ..it shall be you no more."
The vision ends and along with those last words The Doctor opens his eyes and draws a big breath of air. The man in front of him was no longer there. He starts running yet again , this time towards Amy. She was still picking flowers. He reaches her and grabs her arm then quickly turns towards the TARDIS.
"Amy! Never mind the flowers we have to go now!" but as soon as he tries to step forward he finds that Amy's arm wasn't budging. He turns around. Amelia's face was staring at him surprised and worried. She was now on her feet , still holding his hand.
-
"Ehrm ..What are you on about? What flowers , Doctor where's the snow?"
-
"The ..." He points to the spot behind her where she looks , only to find that there were no flowers there.
Trying to realise what just happened , he squeezes her hand in his and starts walking again in the TARDIS' direction with Amy's obvious nagging right behind him. He stops again puling the sonic screwdriver out of his jacket and scans her with it.
"I can't believe it!" She says.
"Honestly , this is the eighth time you promise me snow , and on we go and there we get and not a single flake! So either the TARDIS is broken , or YOU! "Space Man" forgot how to drive! I am melting in this coat and on top of it all , I lost the bet. What do you know my lovely idiot was right. Again!
"Come on! he says "It'll be snow" he says "It'll be like Christmas in mid July" he tempts me..Argh!"
The Doctor finished scanning her and tries to calm her down ,
"It's Ok there's going to be snow on the next planet I promise , cross my heart." He reaches for the TARDIS's door handle and opens the door to find ..

"ABEL 3627740479!"
That sounds like a very long phone number , interrupts Amy from the back.
"Commonly known as "LYX" , sole surv ..
He looks inside the TARDIS to see himself , Amy and Rory still on the floor gleaming at each other while that Doctor was explaining where they were. As soon as the door opened The Doctor inside stopped mid-sentence looking like he'd just seen a ghost. The two soon notice him and ask The Doctor.
"Doctor ..Wha..what is THAT?!?" pointing at this other Doctor that just entered the TARDIS.
The Doctor can't believe this is happening , he panics and quickly turns around looking at his hand. There was no Amy there. It was just him. He looks back inside at the other Doctor and says :
"WHAT?!?"
The other one looks back at him and also says :
"WHAT?!?"
